What to Expect

  • A Warm, Respectful, and Spirit-Led Environment:
    From the moment you join, you can expect to be welcomed into a caring faith community where people come together for encouragement, prayer, and spiritual support. You are never pressured to speak or pray aloud. New participants are welcome to listen, observe, and participate at their own comfort level.

    Each gathering includes a brief scripture reading and an encouraging Word designed to help you strengthen your relationship with God, apply biblical principles to everyday life, and remain grounded during difficult or uncertain seasons.

    Participants have an opportunity to share prayer requests, celebrate praise reports, and stand in faith with others. We conclude by praying together for individuals, families, health, relationships, businesses, communities, ministry needs, and other concerns brought before the group. The goal is for you to leave feeling encouraged, supported, and spiritually refreshed.

    3. Do I have to pray out loud?
    No. You are welcome to listen, receive, and participate at your own comfort level. There is no pressure to pray or speak aloud.

    4. Can I submit a prayer request?
    Yes. Participants may share prayer requests during the designated prayer-request time or submit them privately when that option is available.

    5. Are my prayer requests confidential?
    We ask all participants to respect the privacy of others and treat personal prayer requests with care and confidentiality.

    6. What happens during a typical Prayer Line session?
    Sessions generally include a welcome and meet-and-greet, prayer requests, scripture and encouragement, followed by corporate prayer.

    7. Can I join if I am not a member of The Greater HFOM?
    Yes. The Give It All to God Prayer Line is open to anyone seeking prayer, encouragement, spiritual growth, and Christian community.

    8. What if I join late?
    You may still join. We simply ask that you enter quietly, keep your phone muted when you are not speaking, and follow along with the session already in progress.

    9. Can I invite family members or friends?
    Absolutely. You are encouraged to invite others who could benefit from prayer, encouragement, and fellowship.

    10. Is there a cost to participate?
    No. Participation in the Prayer Line is free.

    11. What should I have with me during the session?

    We recommend having your Bible, a notebook or prayer journal, and any prayer requests you would like to bring before the group.

    12. What if I only want to listen?

    That is perfectly fine. You can join simply to listen, receive encouragement, and pray silently with the group.
